Doug Milton always took moron seriously. Despite my amateurish attempts at music, he always brought professionalism and perfectionism to my work, and, frankly, made the unlistenable into something...well...less unlistenable. I was always amazed at his ideas and creative insights. His mixing and mastering skills have allowed me (and about four other people) to really enjoy moron music. He understands that my music means a lot to me, and his incredible ear has always brought out the best in moron.
You can find Doug at www.9250av.com, where he continues to do audio mastering--and now, also, video mastering and production. His studio is up in the mountains in Black Hawk, Colorado, where you can see the continental divide, just a few miles away, from his living room window.
I first met Doug when he worked out of his studio, then called Cyberella Studios, in his apartment in Abingdon, Maryland. I had thumbed through the phone book for someone to mix and master moron recordings, and he was $5 per hour cheaper than his competition. I walked into his studio and saw Resurrection Band posters on the wall, and I knew that God had led me there. That was January 1999. Seven full-length CDs, a couple of EPs, and a live album later, Doug is still the only one whom I would trust to mix and master moron CDs. I flew out to his studio in Colorado in November 2008 to work on gnashville! with him. He understands moron; he is professional yet gentle in his suggestions--99% of which I would take and apply. Thank you, Doug.
